Meteorologist "Lifer" Visits Pre-K
Jeff Penner '88, KSHB 41 meteorologist and Barstow "lifer," visited prekindergarten students this week for some weather show and tell.
Jeff created a tornado in a jar, read a weather-themed book, and discussed different types of weather such as snow, sleet, rain and thunder. He answered questions about his job at KSHB, and his years at Barstow. He also visited the BTVN television studio, and plans to share a photo of his visit during the weekend morning news on Sunday.
