The drama program at Barstow offers students the chance to learn fundamentals, find self expression and learn the cultural and technical knowledge of the theater. In Upper School, Acting I and II, scriptwriting and directing, Film making, Broadcasting and Cinema, plus the opportunity to perform in the fall musical or spring play round out the offerings at Barstow.

Barstow's sequential and traditional fine arts curriculum provides students with a historical background, as well as the skills, techniques, and concepts necessary for success today and in the future. The age appropriate curricular goals and methods are clearly defined, yet flexible The divisional programs are constantly searching for meaningful and creative enrichment activities to integrate art activities with other academic departments.
