Barstow provides a comprehensive, textured curriculum that begins in early education and follows each student through the Lower, Middle and Upper Schools. While laying the foundation to meet future challenges, each grade level strives to engage students in a fulfilling, rewarding experience. We work hard to make curriculum developmentally appropriate and sound, establishing a continuity across divisions and departments. Whenever possible, we take advantage of interdisciplinary opportunities, whether they present themselves in preschool or senior year of Upper School. Classrooms are vital places of learning--interactive, dynamic and lively.
